Connect an AI assistant to LLUMIFIELD

The LLUMIFIELD connector lets Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants that speak the Model Context Protocol (MCP) work with your company's schedule, customers, estimates and invoices. You sign in, you choose what it can do, and you can cut it off at any time. Connector URL: https://app.llumifield.com/mcp

You need a LLUMIFIELD account. A 14-day free trial works, no credit card required. There is no separate charge for the connector.

What the connector does

More than 100 tools, each tied to a named permission. With read access an assistant can:

• Look up clients, projects, appointments, tickets, contracts, estimates and invoices.
• Read the schedule and dispatch board, find open times, and work out the best route for a technician's day.
• Pull reports: business overview, invoice dashboard and invoice aging.

With full access it can also, within your role:

• Create and reschedule appointments, assign technicians, and add notes, tasks and materials.
• Create clients and projects, and draft estimates, invoices and contracts.
• Send a document, reminder or message to a customer, reply to a booking request, and create a Stripe payment link.
• Record a payment you already received. The connector never charges a card and never moves money. Customers pay on Stripe's own page.

Connect from Claude

1. In Claude, go to Customize → Connectors.
2. Find LLUMIFIELD in the directory and select Connect. If it is not listed for you yet, select Add custom connector and enter https://app.llumifield.com/mcp. On Team and Enterprise plans, an Owner adds it under Organization settings → Connectors.
3. Sign in to LLUMIFIELD, choose Full access or Read-only, and select Approve.

Connect from ChatGPT

1. In ChatGPT, open Plugins.
2. Find LLUMIFIELD in the directory and connect it. If it is not listed for you yet, select the plus button, then Add custom MCP server, and enter https://app.llumifield.com/mcp as the server URL. Availability depends on your ChatGPT plan and workspace settings.
3. Sign in to LLUMIFIELD, choose Full access or Read-only, and select Approve.

Sign-in and permissions

The connector uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE. Your password is never shared with the assistant. An access token lasts one hour, and a refresh token lasts up to 30 days and is replaced each time it is used.

• Full access grants everything your role can do. On the same screen you can lower the daily message limit and set a maximum payment amount.
• Read-only lets the assistant browse data and change nothing.
• Technicians can connect their own assistant, but tools for invoices, payments, booking requests, contracts and reports stay hidden from them. If an admin is later demoted, their connection shrinks to the new role on the next request.
• Every connection belongs to one company. No tool takes a company as an input, so an assistant cannot reach another company's data.
• An app that is not a known AI assistant is marked as unverified on the consent screen, and it starts on Read-only.

Limits

Limits apply to each connection, so one assistant cannot use up another's allowance.

• 120 requests a minute per connection.
• 200 customer messages a day on a full-access connection by default. Emails and texts sent through the connector count, including documents, reminders, contracts and booking replies.
• An optional maximum payment amount per action, set by an admin.
• A customer email address or phone number first added through the connector cannot receive connector or automated messages for 24 hours. Staff sending from the app are not affected.
• Email unsubscribes and SMS STOP replies are always honored. Texts need the customer's stored consent.

Over a limit, the assistant gets an error and nothing is sent. Every write needs a unique key, so a retry after a dropped connection does not repeat the action.

Data handling

• LLUMIFIELD sends data to an assistant only when that assistant calls a tool for you. We do not push your data to any AI vendor.
• What the assistant then does with it is covered by your agreement with the assistant's provider.
• Appointments imported from Google Calendar are withheld from every connector read.
• We never read your conversations. The connector sees only the tool calls it receives.
• Each tool call is logged with the tool name, permission, result, timing, response size and a hash of the inputs, not the inputs themselves. Logs are kept for 90 days.

Disconnect

In LLUMIFIELD, go to Settings → Your connected AI apps and select Revoke. Admins can also revoke any connection in the company under Settings → AI access (MCP). Access stops right away. Removing the connector in Claude or ChatGPT does not revoke it in LLUMIFIELD, so revoke here as well.
